Inkyung is a ceramic artist and designer who trained and worked as an architect for more than seven years. Her sculptural work carries over what she learned from buildings: how mass holds weight, how a surface takes light, how an empty space is shaped by what surrounds it.
She later moved into product design, where the work lives on screens. As technology carried objects further from the hand, she found she missed the physical. Ceramics is how she closes that gap: a slow material, shaped by hand, that cannot be copied or updated.
Each piece is made once.
